or major Jewish holidays or schedule Beit Am events on Shabbat or
major Jewish holidays that are not connected to the celebration/observance
of the day.
Major Jewish holidays are Rosh HaShanah, Yom Kippur, the first and
second days of Sukkot, Shimini Atzeret, Simhat Torah, the first,
second, seventh, and eighth days of Passover, and the first and
second days of Shavuot.
Holidays begin prior to sunset of the evening before and end after
sunset the day of the holiday.
