Tu Bishvat: A Night of Chanting and Delighting in the Gifts of our Earth
Tuesday February 7, 7pm
Come join us as we journey through the four worlds of the Jewish mystical tradition, exploring the physical, emotional, intellectual and spiritual realms that animate this seder in honor of Tu BiShvat, the birthday of the Tree. This year we will utilize the modality of chanting, coupled with meditation and discussion, to experience in a more embodied fashion the qualities and insights within the seder’s four worlds. Pausing along the way to offer blessings and enjoy the fruits of the tree and vine, we will aim to heighten our awareness of the precious gifts with which we are blessed and to cultivate gratitude for the world in which we dwell. All are welcome—please come with an open mind and a willing spirit. Please bring one kind of fruit or nuts to share.
