Please join us for High Holidays Services, 5779.

College students and members of other synagogues are our guests. Let us know of your intention to attend services by contacting our office through email: office@beitam.org

If you are not a member, please let us know of your intention to attend services by contacting our office through e-mail: office@beitam.org. Recommended donation is $50 for individuals, $100 for families. Your donation will be applied to membership dues if you choose to join.

Donations can be mailed to: Beit Am P.O. Box 1143, Corvallis OR 97339-1143, or made online at beitam.org.donate. Please indicate “High Holiday guest donation” in the donation message box.

Please take a moment to pull out your calendars and look below at the links of jobs available at the Beit Am volunteer for HH list, and consider what you can do to help enable the celebration of the holidays this year. We are in need of volunteers in the week prior to the High Holidays, and days of services. If you don’t find anything that fits your schedule, get in touch with volunteer@beitam.org. We’ll find you something!

Beit Am’s Book of Remembrance is an opportunity to memorialize a loved one. The booklet will be distributed at the Yizkor service on Yom Kippur. Refer to this form for information about memorial listings and other High Holiday donation opportunities.

All services are held at the Unitarian Fellowship (UUFC) in Corvallis, unless otherwise noted.
The UUFC is located at 2945 NW Circle Blvd. Map to UUFC, and directions.

Childcare is provided for Erev Rosh Hashanah, Rosh Hashanah I, Erev Yom Kippur, and Yom Kippur day services.

  • Sunday, September 9th, Erev Rosh Hashanah, 7:30pm
  • Monday, September 10th, Rosh Hashanah I
    • 9:00am with Kiddush luncheon at 12:30pm
    • 4:30pm-Tashlikh, meet at Michael's landing (across from the Old Spaghetti Factory)
  • Tuesday, September 11th, Rosh Hashanah II
    • 9:00am- services will be held at Beit Am
  • Saturday, September 15th, Shabbat Shuvah, services 9:30am at Beit Am
  • Tuesday, September 18th, Erev Yom Kippur, services starts promptly at 6:30pm
  • Wednesday, September 19th, Yom Kippur
    • 9:00am morning services begin
    • Early afternoon programing TBD
    • 4:30pm Yizkor (memorial service)
    • 5:30pm Minhah
    • 6:30pm Ne’ilah
    • 7:30pm Havdalah followed by a break-the-fast meal
  • Sukkot - Starts the evening of Sunday, September 23rd
  • Sunday, September 30th, Hoshana Raba
  • Monday, October 10th, Shmini Atzeret
